See Dinosaurs for Free at the ROM
The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is the largest natural history museum in Canada, with over six million objects and dozens of permanent and travelling exhibits. The ROM is a must-see attraction when visiting the city. And general admission to the ROM is free every Wednesday night from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The general admission fee for adults is normally $22, so budget-conscious travellers will get great value visiting on a Wednesday. And while it's not free, admission to the ROM every Friday evening from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm is slashed to half-price.

Listen to Classical Music for Free at Toronto's Harbourfront
Harbourfront Center, Toronto's cultural mecca on the shores of Lake Ontario, annually presents the free Summer Music in the Garden series in the Toronto Music Garden. The series features classical music and dance from a variety of cultures There is no admission fee to the picturesque Garden, which was designed in conjunction with a landscape designer by renowned cellist Yo Yo Ma. The one-hour summer concerts take place Thursdays at 7:00 pm and Sundays at 4:00 pm, weather permitting.

Admire Art for Free at the AGO
If fine art and breathtaking architecture is more your thing that dinosaurs, then a trip to the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) is sure to delight culture vultures visiting Toronto. The AGO boasts an extensive collection of Canadian, European, African and contemporary art. The $18 adult admission fee is waived on Wednesday nights between 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm, making it very affordable to browse through one of the biggest and highly regarded art museums in North America.
